Indulge in the rich, fudgy texture of these Cadbury Egg Brownies, where each bite reveals a gooey, creamy center bursting with chocolatey goodness. The combination of the soft brownie base and the sweet, velvety Cadbury cream creates a delightful contrast that will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Brownie Base:
    • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cadbury Egg Filling:
    • 6 Cadbury Crème Eggs (cut in half)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan, spreading evenly.
  7. Place the halved Cadbury Eggs on top of the brownie batter, cut side up.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the Cadbury Eggs, spreading it to cover them completely.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • These brownies can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For best results, allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting to maintain their fudgy texture.
  • You can substitute Cadbury Crème Eggs with any chocolate-filled eggs or even peanut butter cups for a different flavor.
