  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced pears, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until the pears are caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the pears from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer the brie cheese and caramelized pears.
  6. Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Heat the skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
