Description

Ingredients

  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup birthday cake mix
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy vanilla frosting
  • Colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Warm the milk and melt the butter together in a separate bowl, then add the egg and stir until blended.
  3. Introduce the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about five minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for around one hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle that’s about 1/4-inch thick.
  7. Mix the birthday cake mix, brown sugar, and vanilla extract for the filling and spread it over the dough.
  8. Roll the dough into a log and cut it into equal pieces about 1 to 2 inches thick.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for about 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for about 20-25 minutes.
  11. Frost the rolls with creamy vanilla frosting and sprinkle with vibrant sprinkles.
