  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, combine cooked beef, ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  6. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
