  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free

Description

Bang Bang Salmon is a delightful dish that combines the rich, buttery texture of perfectly cooked salmon with a creamy, spicy sauce that tantalizes the taste buds. Each bite offers a burst of flavor, with the salmon’s natural sweetness beautifully complemented by the zesty kick of sriracha and the smoothness of mayonnaise.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Salmon:
    • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Bang Bang Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and place the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the salmon is cooking, whisk together the mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  6. Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and drizzle the Bang Bang sauce generously over the top.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead by preparing the Bang Bang sauce and storing it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Leftover salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise in the sauce.
