Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  7. In another bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  8. Layer the banana pudding over the cream cheese mixture in the springform pan.
  9. Top with sliced bananas and then the cream cheese mixture.
  10. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top if desired.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

  • For a richer flavor, use ripe bananas.
