Ingredients

Scale
  • Tortellini: 12 oz cheese tortellini, fresh or frozen
  • Ground Beef: 1 lb lean ground beef
  • Cheese Sauce:
    • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 cup ricotta cheese
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Seasoning: 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Garnish: Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef, stirring to combine.
  4. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, ground beef mixture, heavy cream, mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
