Description
Baked Ricotta-Stuffed Mushrooms are a delightful appetizer filled with creamy ricotta cheese and herbs, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

			- 12 large mushrooms
 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
 - In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
 - Stuff each mushroom cap with the ricotta mixture.
 - Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
 - Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
 - Serve warm and enjoy!
 
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add some cooked sausage to the ricotta mixture.
 - These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
 - Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices.
