Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked roast beef, shredded
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in milk until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  7. Place a spoonful of roast beef and cheese on half of the circles.
  8. Top with remaining circles and seal edges.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  10. In a small saucepan, combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, heat until warm.
  11. Serve biscuits with warm broth for dipping.
