- 2 slices of bread
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 2 slices of pepper jack cheese
- Butter, for spreading
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the avocado slices, tomato slices, and pepper jack cheese on top.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of salt and pepper on the avocado and tomato.
- Feel free to use any type of bread you prefer.
