- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the mushrooms until they are golden brown.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Spread the sautéed mushrooms and spinach evenly in the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables or herbs to customize your quiche.
