Delicious and easy-to-make apple crumble bars that are perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine diced apples, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix well.
- Spread the apple mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top of the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, add more sugar to the apple mixture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
